For Home Sellers

Selling your home doesn't have to feel like you are on your own. The APEX Group can use our years of experience to help ensure you get the most out of selling your home. Here are some tips for you to keep in mind as you begin the journey to sell your next home.

1

Hire a REALTOR®

Make sure the agent you hire to represent you is a REALTOR®. Being a REALTOR® means that person subscribes to the standards of the association and its code of ethics to uphold certain values of the profession. If they aren't a REALTOR® member, it doesn't mean they aren't trustworthy, but it might be too late before you find out.

2

Know Your Value

Get a comparative market analysis of your home so that you know what the market looks like for you home. Consider getting your home pre-inspected to help increase the offers.

3

Sign The Listing Agreement

Sign the listing agreement and necessary disclosures with your agent so that they are authorized to act on your behalf.

4

Prepare The Home

Make any necessary repairs to the home to help get the most value and declutter the main areas. You only get 1 first impression.

5

On The Market

With your home on the market, be flexible and accommodating for showings. You never know when the right buyer is ready to look at your home.

6

Negotiate The Offer

Once you have an offer your agent will help you determine the right path to help you sell your home. This can include the selling price, closing costs, and even repairs.

7

Walk Through and Close

The walk through pre-close allows the buyer to inspect the property and be sure it is left in proper condition as well as confirm any agreed upon repairs or improvements have been made. Then it's time for paperwork.

8

Move!

Once you've completed the paperwork it is time to move. Be sure you have checked all the non-trafficked locations, like the attic, to ensure you have all your property. Leave all the keys and garage door openers.
